Govt Job V/S Private Job Which Is Best - Facts about Government Job and Private Job
Once we complete our Graduation, the next thing which comes to our mind is the job. Nowadays many of us will get job offers while pursuing our final year of graduation .so most of the students join the private sector, at some point of time many of us would have the desire of joining in a Government sector. Both Government and private jobs have their own pros and cons, which a person should clearly analyse before opting for that job.
Government job
Those who want to join in the government sector. There is a lot of procedures for that. Firstly application forms for Government sectors have a constant date of release and also with a time period for an aspirant to apply. Hence an aspirant opting for a Government sector, as there are most aspiring applying for specific jobs and often these jobs are open at overall India level.so the competition level is very high when compared to private jobs. For all these reasons everyone has to prepare well advance. In government jobs there are many fields to get the jobs. For example UPSC, Banking, SSC, RRB, State service. The most important reason why everyone is having that the desire of joining Government job is job security.
Private job
Most private sectors recruit student through ON campus interview. They recruit students by testing their technical skills through written test and their communication skills through group discussion and personal interview .Initially some people may feel tough to adopt in a private sector but as soon as they gained enough knowledge in their relevant field, they will be promoted to a higher level based on their performance but whereas in the Government sector, it will take more long years to get promoted to the next level. As long as we are strong enough in our technical skills and we update our knowledge in the relevant field, we can sustain well in the private sector.In the government sector, it is very difficult to terminate someone from a job without a proper reason. In the private sector a person can be terminated from that job even without any prior intimation.Even our higher officials, if they have any personal vengeance with us just like that they will terminate us from that job without a proper reason.
Vacancy
In private sectors, more job opening will be there when compared with government sectors.In the government sector, only limited vacancy for jobs.so obviously competitive will be more for getting a job in government sector.
Work schedule
In the Government sector, our working hours will be fixed and there is no need to work for extra hours. So that we can spend some quality time with our family and will have a perfect balance between work and family this in contrast with the private sector because here we will have targets which need to complete on time. So we cant stick on to fixed working hours in the private sector.
Work stress
The work stress in the private sector is very high because you are under tremendous pressure of targets and hence stress is high but in the Government sector, there is no such case and no targets.Government jobs are comparatively cool in this contrast.
Salary
Government sectors don’t pay much and private jobs give tremendous increments. In banks and government sectors, we usually get other allowances (like residence, transportation cost, furniture etc.) which private job does not provide allowances and other benefits
Also, in government jobs, there are fixed growth and gradual appraisals. In a private job, you get performance-based increment.
Others
In government jobs often we have a regular work and operations but in private jobs, we have to do multitasking works. In Government no one value for your ideas and innovations but in private job they value your ideas and creativity.
